Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer

The Mission

Role Overview

As a Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer at Vangrove Tech, you will lead the architecture and implementation of production enterprise systems across FinTech, HRMS, and EdTech domains. You will write clean, strictly-typed code, design scalable relational database schemas with Row-Level Security, and ship features directly to thousands of active end-users.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and ship full-stack web features using Next.js 14 (App Router), React 18/19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Design PostgreSQL database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, indexes, and configure Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
• Develop secure RESTful and server-action APIs with input validation (Zod) and robust error handling.
• Collaborate directly with designers to translate high-fidelity Figma components into accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD automated pipeline maintenance, and performance optimization targeting 95+ Core Web Vitals.

What We Look For

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience building web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript (async/await, promises, generics, strict typing).
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), schema design, and basic indexing.
• Experience with state management, REST APIs, and authentication flows (JWT, OAuth, Supabase Auth).
• Familiarity with Git branching, pull requests, and automated deployment pipelines (Vercel, GitHub Actions).

Bonus Points

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Redis caching, or message queues (RabbitMQ/BullMQ).
• Hands-on work with vector databases (pgvector) or OpenAI/Anthropic LLM API integrations.
• Contributions to open-source software or active GitHub project portfolio.
